MTP – Teaching Tip #1 – Attach Documents to Days of the Week

    • For teachers using My Teacher Pages, a classroom web site tool developed by School World, organizing homework assignments can be a valuable tool for your students. 

    But did you know that you can attach documents (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoints, .pdf, etc.) to a homework assignment section?  Here is how:

    1. Login to MyTeacherPages
    2. Click on My Applications
    3. Click on Add Assignment
    4. Choose Option 2 – Advanced
      1. In the text box type in a category (e.g. Vocabulary, Spelling Words, Graphic Organizers)
      2. In the drop down menu next to it, choose an assignment type (e.g. Long Term, Short Term, Quiz…)
      3. Click Next
    5. Add Assignment Directions
    6. Choose a Subject/Period/Course
    7. Choose a Date Assigned
    8. Choose a Due Date
    9. Add any special notes (if necessary)
    10. Click Save
    11. Click on the Files Tab
    12. Click Browse, locate your your file, click on it and then click open
    13. Give it a Friendly File Name
    14. Describe your file (optional)
    15. Click Save
    16. Take a look at my example
