These students are not merely technology-savvy; they are approaching their lives differently as they integrate digital technologies—such as computers, the Internet, instant messaging, cell phones, and e-mail—seamlessly throughout their daily activities. Time spent using digital media, children aged 13-17 has now surpassed the time they spend watching television.
