Today’s U.S. K-12 students grew-up with digital technologies. These students are not merely technology-savvy; they are approaching their lives differently as they integrate digital technologies—such as computers, the Internet, instant messaging, cell phones, and e-mail—seamlessly throughout their daily activities. Time spent using digital media, children aged 13-17 has now surpassed the time they spend watching television.

There are a number of steps that can help you work with the kids of this age.  Here they are:

  6. Organizing Resources on the web for your students, colleagues and parents
