The trick is to figure out a way to get those kids in Buffalo access to technology. The digital divide is a real thing and only getting worse. We need to partner with businesses, colleges, etc.

What a great way to open the eyes of our children and students. I teach in Buffalo where many of my Kindergarten students don't know the difference between a squirrel and a cow. I started looking on Unitedstreaming.com for videos to show my kids when we just can't go ourselves. Melissa

Chris,

You can boil most of education down to literacy, so you've certainly both highlighted this imperative and illustrated its pursuit.

For better or worse, technology will have a large role to play in all this - in real world magic, the genie/bottle vector only points outward.

We'll have to discuss this further as we refine our aim.
