The idea of sea turtles laying and burying their eggs popped up. My inquisitive Brookey, asked me how they do this. So, I tried to explain this to her and actually showed her on the floor – not a pretty site. And then – a lightning bolt came from the heavens and hit me
Use the Web, Use the web
I quickly searched YouTube and found a video of a Sea Turtle Laying Eggs in The Galapagos. (Too bad a school will have this filtered – can’t adults be responsible anymore?)

Chris,
You can boil most of education down to literacy, so you’ve certainly both highlighted this imperative and illustrated its pursuit.
For better or worse, technology will have a large role to play in all this – in real world magic, the genie/bottle vector only points outward.
We’ll have to discuss this further as we refine our aim.

What a great way to open the eyes of our children and students. I teach in Buffalo where many of my Kindergarten students don’t know the difference between a squirrel and a cow. I started looking on Unitedstreaming.com for videos to show my kids when we just can’t go ourselves. Melissa
